On The Question Of Gender ...
I consider myself to be psychological androgyne. Androgyne, meaning Whole Gendered or Bigendered with Balanced characteristics of masculinity, femininity and neutral characteristics. I present these characteristics as appropriate for the situation. I prefer to Dress either clearly as a man/masculine OR as a woman/feminine.
My androgyne identification pertains to gender identity, not to a neutral or mixed look.
Many psychological androgynes do not understand who and what they are. They may agonize for years, wondering how it is that they can feel androgynous if they don't look that way. Self-perception and self-identification are often problematic for androgynes.
I believe that Woman find this much easier to understand and accept within themselves, while in general men tend to run from accepting themselves being of an Androgyne identification.
I often quote the wise saying . . .The More You Know The Less you Know . .
My Wish would be that Society understood and accepted Androgyne identification so everyone could be open about how they dressed and felt when appropriate for the situation.
